Alexis Sanchez Scores Hat-Trick vs. Leicester City: Latest Comments and Reaction
Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez scored a fantastic hat-trick against Leicester City on Saturday, scoring his first goals of the Premier League season and playing a pivotal part in the Gunners' 5-2 win over the in-form Foxes.
According to Squawka Football, it was the Chilean's first-ever competitive hat-trick for Arsenal.
After Jamie Vardy and Theo Walcott had traded goals in the early stages of the match, Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead just before half-time, taking advantage of a superb cross from Hector Bellerin and good work from Walcott.

While it wasn't the hardest goal Sanchez has ever scored, it seemed to give him the confidence he has lacked so far this season. He later timed a run beautifully to nod the ball past a rushing Kasper Schmeichel, with Mesut Ozil taking credit for the assist, and he completed his hat-trick with a stunning drive from outside the box.
According to ESPN FC's Michael Caley, confidence was the key:
"Alexis Sanchez didn't have confidence to score goals and now he does. He got that confidence by scoring goals. This all makes lots of sense.

Sanchez's excellent performance was widely celebrated by Gunners fans on social media, who have been waiting for the Chile international to return to form after an impressive but tiring 2014-15 campaign.
He was visibly exhausted when he returned from the 2015 Copa America and took some time to find his form, but if Saturday's performance is anything to go on, the Sanchez we know has returned. TV personality and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is excited:
Arsenal sit just three points behind league-leaders Manchester United, whom they'll face at the Emirates Stadium in Week 8 of the Premier League season. As things stand, the Gunners are in the thick of the title race, and football writer Liam thinks Sanchez and Ozil will play pivotal roles in the club's bid for the title:
You need your biggest stars to perform consistently if you wish to end up with major silverware at the end of the season, and Sanchez looks as if he's finally hitting his stride in 2015-16. Arsenal fans have been patient with the Chilean, and it now seems that patience will be rewarded in a big way.
