Best Golazos from World Football This Weekend
Our weekend golazo rankings are usually a global affair, and the latest edition is no exception, as it boasts efforts from England, Germany, Norway, France, Russia, China and Canada.
Honourable mentions this week go to Eric Dier and his daisy-cutter against Manchester City, Alexis Sanchez's long-range beauty against Leicester, Julian Brandt's free kick at Bremen and Bebe's epic free kick at Sevilla.
Take a look at the rankings and be sure to leave a comment about your favourite strike...
10. Hakon Opdal (Start) vs. Valerenga
1 of 10Start didn't get the best start to their Norwegian Tippeligaen match with Valerenga on Friday evening.
However, they bagged a second-half equaliser when 'keeper Hakon Opdal took a free kick from his own half and managed to put it straight in the back of the net.
Valerenga's man in the goal probably should have done better, but a 50-yard goal is a 50-yard goal!
9. Kevin Kampl (Bayer Leverkusen) vs. Werder Bremen
2 of 10There were no home victories in the Bundesliga over the weekend, with Bayer Leverkusen proving to be one of four teams who scored three on the road.
The best goal of Levrkusen's 3-0 victory at Werder Bremen was Kevin Kampl's beautiful curler, which was the Slovenian's first Bundesliga goal.
8. Ramires (Chelsea) vs. Newcastle
3 of 10
When Chelsea found themselves 2-0 down to Newcastle with 12 minutes of normal time remaining on Saturday evening, they needed something special to salvage a result.
That something came in the form of a stunner from Ramires, whose long-ranger put the reigning champions halfway toward earning a draw.
7. Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool) vs. Aston Villa
4 of 10
Brendan Rodgers slightly cooled the burning hot seat on which he sits with a 3-2 win over Aston Villa at Anfield on Sunday.
Daniel Sturridge was back to his best with a brace that included a delightful volley set up by an inspired pass from James Milner.
6. Hatem Ben Arfa (Nice) vs. Saint Etienne
5 of 10Saint Etienne eased the pressure on Paris Saint Germain at the top of Ligue 1 on Sunday by conspiring to lose 4-1 to Nice.
Hatem Ben Arfa was on the scoresheet twice, with his second goal proving to be a sensational solo effort that saw the former Newcastle midfielder beat several defenders before slotting home.
5. Baboucarr Trawally (Yanbian Changbai ) vs. Beijing BG
6 of 10Our friends at 101GG have unearthed a wonderful piece of showboating from the China League One (Chinese second division) on Saturday.
Receiving the ball on the edge of the box, Baboucarr Trawally composed himself and tucked away a very cheeky Rabona.
4. Hulk Makes (Zenit St. Petersburg) vs. Spartak Moscow
7 of 10Zenit Saint Petersburg may not be in the greatest form in the Russian Premier League right now, but Hulk scored a free kick for the ages in their 2-2 draw with Spartak Moscow at the weekend.
Just before the half-hour mark, the Brazilian nearly broke the net with his powerful strike.
3. Jonathan Osorio (Toronto) vs. Chicago
8 of 10Sebastian Giovinco has been something of a sensation in MLS this season, and he further enhanced his reputation during Toronto's 3-0 win over Chicago on Saturday.
In the 29th minute, the Italian lobbed the keeper from an impossible angle for what would have been his 30th goal of the season, had Jonathan Osario not added a feather touch.
For all intents and purposes, however, the goal was Giovinco's.
2. Marco Benassi (Torino) vs. Palermo
9 of 10In an unusual turn of events, Torino are by far the most successful team in Turin right now after a 2-1 home victory over Palermo on Sunday.
The winning goal was a stunner from Marco Benassi, who met a Maxi Lopez cross with a fantastic volley across goal.
1. Hiroshi Kiyotake (Hannover) vs. Wolfsburg
10 of 10
Struggling Hannover earned a valuable point at Wolfsburg on Saturday thanks to a moment of magic from Hiroshi Kiyotake.
Shortly before the hour mark, the Japanese midfielder bagged the equaliser with an incredible volley that he set up for himself.
Take a bow, son!
