NCAA Football Rankings 2015: Week 4 College Top 25 Standings Predictions
College football may have started three weeks ago, but the real action began on Saturday.
With exciting finishes and wild upsets, the season is now in full swing.
Two of the top six teams in the Associated Press poll were upset on Saturday, and a number of other teams pulled off convincing victories that are sure to shake up the rankings.
After a day of upsets, predicting the rankings is a tough task, as voters are a fickle bunch. But here's a look a how the voting may shake out.

Notable Teams
Ohio State
"Ohio State might not have played like a #1 team today. Still no debate to me. Bucks are the best team. Urban will just use this to motivate.
— Reese Davis (@ESPN_ReceDavis) September 19, 2015"
It couldn't have been any uglier for Ohio State against Northern Illinois, but their stranglehold on No. 1 likely continues this week.
Perhaps Alabama could have jumped Ohio State with a convincing win over Ole Miss, but since no one else in the top five rolled to a noteworthy victory, the Buckeyes will almost certainly maintain a solid lead atop the rankings.
Ole Miss
It will be fascinating to see how high the Rebels can climb.
Normally an upset victory wouldn't catapult a team from No. 15 (where the Rebels were ranked in last week's AP poll) into the top five, but the Rebels have some carry-over momentum from last season.
Having knocked off Alabama in consecutive years Ole Miss has more credibility, and the convincing nature of the win on Saturday likely causes voters to give them a significant boost.
LSU
The Tigers were ranked 13th in the AP poll a week ago, but they are due for a nice rise after knocking off Auburn.
If Auburn's tumble continues this may not count as a quality win by season's end, but it looks good for now, especially with so many other teams playing lesser opponents.
The impact of Leonard Fournette's highlight reel plays shouldn't be discounted either.
While voters are busy covering their own team, they're only exposure to most others are the highlights. And Fournette made sure LSU would be heavily featured this weekend.

Alabama
It's always tough to guess where a team will fall after an upset loss.
Oregon fell from No. 7 to No. 12 in the AP poll after losing at Michigan State in Week 2, but Alabama is likely in for more of a tumble.
Not only did Alabama lose on its home turf, but a number of other teams such as Ole Miss, LSU and Notre Dame beat quality opponents and earned the right to jump them in the rankings.
Stanford, USC and Northwestern
What will voters make of this mess?
"And the AP poll fun really cranks up for week 3. Stanford beats No. 6 USC on the road. Have to have Northwestern ahead of them
— Laura Keeley (@laurakeeley) September 20, 2015"
Objectively, Northwestern has the best resume, as the only undefeated team in the group. But how many voters can bring themselves to rank a traditional doormat over a traditional power like USC?
Despite the loss, it's likely USC remains the top ranked team among this group. Voters are creatures of habit, and they'll have a hard time writing in Northwestern ahead of a program many had penciled in as a championship contender a week ago.
