Saturday Recap
A trio of strikes from Naismith condemned Chelsea to 16th in the Premier League table with just four points from five matches.
The Scot hadn't in fact started the match, but he was brought on after nine minutes for the injured Muhamed Besic and soon headed his side in front. The 28-year-old doubled his tally just five minutes later, hitting a low, left-footed strike past stand-in goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Nemanja Matic pulled one back for the visitors before half-time with a venomous effort from well outside the area. Everton were solid throughout, though, and Naismith completed his perfect hat-trick eight minutes from time as he latched onto Ross Barkley's clever pass to drive home with his right foot.
Chelsea were again disappointing as they struggled to create chances. Nevertheless, Match of the Day host Gary Lineker had some comforting words for disappointed Blues fans:
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho pulled no punches in his assessment of their start, but he insists he is the one to turn things around.
Per Mandeep Sanghera of BBC Sport, he said: "I am not feeling pressure. The results are the worst in my career. They are not adapted to my quality, my status, but I am coping well with the situation. I am the man for the job. I don't think there is better man who could come and do my job."

An important win for Arsenal saw them return to their usual place in the top four.
Theo Walcott opened the scoring in the first half with a cool finish after Mesut Ozil found him with a majestic ball from well inside the Gunners' half, before Olivier Giroud headed home Santi Cazorla's free-kick late on.
Arsenal were dominant throughout, and both Walcott and Giroud getting on the scoresheet is promising news for the Gunners, but equally, it will be a concern they didn't score more given huge the number of chances they had, per Squawka Football:
The Gunners next four Premier League fixtures comprise Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and then Manchester United, the first three of which are away from home. To continue their chase of Manchester City, they will need to be far more ruthless.
City needed a last-minute winner to secure all three points against Palace as they started without David Silva or Raheem Sterling following the international break.
New signing Kevin De Bruyne began the match on the bench, but he was brought on midway through the first half as Sergio Aguero went off with a knee injury, per BBC Sport's Andy Cryer.

Zonal Marking's Michael Cox was less than impressed with City's first-half display without their key players:
Jesus Navas was guilty of a staggering miss in the second half as he failed to find an open goal from close range. However, teenager Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero for City in the 90th minute as he pounced on a rebound from Samir Nasri.
De Bruyne also impressed, creating five chances for his side according to Squawka Football. The win sees City continue to top the table with 15 points from a possible 15.
For archrivals United, Wayne Rooney missed the game with a hamstring injury while new signing Martial started on the bench, meaning Marouane Fellaini began up front against Liverpool.
Lineker was among those critical of the Belgian's performance as neither side registered an attempt on target in an uninspiring first half:
Daley Blind broke the deadlock shortly after the restart, though, thumping home Juan Mata's expert delivery from a free-kick, before Ander Herrera converted a penalty after being fouled by Joe Gomez.
Benteke sparked hopes of a late comeback in the 84th minute when he scored a stunning overhead kick, but substitute Martial restored United's two-goal lead just two minutes later with a magnificent effort of his own, applying a confident finish after a lovely solo run at the Reds' defence.

United take on Southampton in their next league game. Their attack is still yet to fully click into gear, which will need to improve ahead of their trip to St Mary's, but Martial's memorable debut goal will provide great encouragement both to himself and the team.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are in desperate need of a match to correct their downturn in form having lost back-to-back games.
A home encounter against Norwich should be the antidote, but after the Canaries comfortable win over Bournemouth, they'll be sky-high, so it could be another difficult game for Brendan Rodgers' side.
