Bravo Returns Ahead of Schedule

Monday, Sept. 28

Barca boss Luis Enrique confirmed Bravo's successful recovery ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

Bravo's return hadn't been expected until the Oct. 3 fixture with Sevilla, according to Javier Miguel of Sport.

Youngster Marc-Andre ter Stegen stepped into the No. 1 spot during Bravo's absence but was caught out on more than one occasion, highlighting the importance of Bravo's experience.

Typically, Ter Stegen is Barca's first-choice keeper for European matches, but Bravo will be expected to resume his duties in the club's next league match.
