Bahebeck Hospitalised During Match Against Bastia

The 22-year-old forward was substituted during half-time and taken to the hospital almost immediately. The youngster started weaving on the pitch late in the first half and his condition apparently worsened away from the cameras, to the point his manager Christophe Galtier even feared he may have suffered a cardiac arrest.
As shared by football writer Mohammed Ali, Galtier left the post-match press conference in distress:

Like most of western Europe, France is currently experiencing a heat wave, which explains how Sunday's incident could have happened. Bahebeck will undergo more tests, but as of right now, it looks like he will be just fine.
The France youth international is widely regarded as one of the country's brightest young prospects and joined Les Verts on loan from PSG this year. He's expected to play major minutes in Ligue 1 in 2015-16, with many pundits predicting he'll have a breakout campaign.
