The Georgia Bulldogs are back on top of the AP Top 25.

Kirby Smart's team moved up a spot to No. 1 in the Week 11 rankings after the Miami Hurricanes fell to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday.

Notre Dame inched its way closer to the top with a one-spot move up to No. 3, while Miami fell down to No. 5.

The rest of Sunday's poll featured plenty of multi-spot movement, starting with the Tennessee Volunteers, who moved up seven spots to No. 9.

Tennessee was one of 12 teams to move up multiple spots in Sunday's poll. The Vols, Texas Tech Red Raiders and Wake Forest Demon Deacons moved into Nos. 9, 10 and 11, which would be the last three at-large spots in the College Football Playoff.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 07 Georgia vs Ole Miss

Georgia is back in a familiar spot on top of the AP Top 25.

The Bulldogs blew out the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday night to make the claim to be the top college football team in the country.

Kirby Smart's team is 8-1 with a clear path to the No. 1 overall seed in the CFB Playoff.

Georgia still has to get through the Missouri Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks, both of whom are ranked, to finish off SEC play, but if it plays like it did on Saturday, it will be incredibly tough to stop.

At least for now, Georgia can claim that its the favorite to win the playoff, especially with the chaos that's happened across the rankings on a week-by-week basis.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 07 Miami vs Notre Dame

Notre Dame's win over Miami allowed it to jump to No. 3 in Sunday's poll.

The Fighting Irish played for their playoff life on Saturday because they were ranked No. 11 in the initial CFB Playoff rankings.

Notre Dame was No. 4 in last week's AP poll, but the selection committee thought differently about its resume.

The Irish are two spots ahead of Miami after they beat the ACC side at home.

That's the way it should be after a recent head-to-head result, but now we'll have to wait and see what the selection committee thinks on Tuesday night.

At minimum, Notre Dame should move up multiple spots in the CFB rankings and feel more comfortable about its playoff position.

Miami is safe with one loss, but an extra loss without Malachi Toney might put the Hurricanes in peril, at least in the at-large discussion. The Hurricanes are still the clear favorite to win the ACC's automatic bid.

Tennessee Leads Big Movers

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 07 Kentucky vs Tennessee

Tennessee surged up seven spots in Sunday's poll after its win over the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Vols also benefited from a handful of losses from teams in the middle of the rankings.

All of Saturday's results allowed the Vols to move back into a CFB Playoff position with a favorable schedule in front of it.

Tennessee's last ranked matchup is with the LSU Tigers at home in two weeks. It has two road games against unranked conference foes.

In addition to Tennessee, Texas Tech and Wake Forest leaped into what would be the at-large spots in the 12-team playoff field.

Wake Forest is one of the biggest surprises of the season. It is 8-1 and on a collision course to face Miami in the ACC Championship Game.

Texas Tech should be the second Big 12 team in the field behind the Utah Utes. The two best Big 12 sides will likely face off for the conference's automatic bid in the Big 12 Championship Game.
