No. 2 Georgia wrapped up a lopsided 42-7 victory over No. 10 Ole Miss at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday night.

The Bulldogs secured the blowout win after entering the SEC matchup as 3.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

With No. 1 Miami also suffering a 31-24 loss to No. 11 Notre Dame, Georgia should move to the top spot in the next College Football Playoff rankings.

Here's a look at how notable players including Bulldogs quarterback Gunner Stockton and Ole Miss passer Trinidad Chambliss fared during Saturday's game:

Georgia set the tone early on Saturday, quickly forcing an Ole Miss punt to open the game before going on a 72-yard drive that ended with a four-yard touchdown run by Craig Dandridge.

The Rebels also punted on their next possession, but they pinned the Bulldogs back at their own four-yard line.

It didn't matter, though.

Georgia went 38 yards in three plays before Stockton found Talyn Taylor for a 58-yard touchdown.

The Bulldogs didn't slow down either, pushing their lead to 28-0 before the first half came to a close.

Head coach Kirby Smart's squad kept Ole Miss scoreless through three quarters, as the Rebels were finally able to get on the board after they trailed 35-0 with 11 minutes remaining in the fourth.

The Bulldogs put the finishing touches on their victory with a 65-yard touchdown reception by Taylor on their next possession.

Georgia amassed 481 total yards during the game, with 295 coming on the ground. The Bulldogs averaged 6.1 yards per carry as a team.

Ole Miss couldn't find any success against Georgia's defense, committing two turnovers and converting just six of 16 opportunities on third down.

The Bulldogs improved to 8-1 as the Rebels fell to 6-3.
