Taylyn Hadley Nov 7, 2026

The Arizona State Sun Devils defeated Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes 20-10 on Saturday in Tempe, Arizona.

The Sun Devils entered the matchup as 3.5-point favorites over the Buffaloes, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Sanders and the Buffs fell to 3-6 on the season after snapping a five-game losing streak with a 27-24 overtime win over the Kansas State Wildcats last week. It was Colorado's first win since Sept. 12.

The Buffaloes have struggled at quarterback, with junior Isaac Wilson stepping in for sophomore Julian Lewis after the team's third game of the season, a 41-7 blowout loss to Northwestern. That was also the team's first loss of the season.

Wilson struggled Saturday, throwing for 248 yards while throwing one touchdown and one interception.

The Buffs were held scoreless in the first half, with Isaac Wilson completing 8-of-11 pass attempts for just 93 yards. Arizona State's Jake Fette led his team with one touchdown and 101 yards on 77 percent passing to take a 17-0 lead into the break.

Sun Devils running back Cardae Mack also threw a touchdown, completing both of his pass attempts to give Arizona State an advantage.

The Buffaloes flipped the script after halftime, outscoring ASU 10-3 in the second half. However, Colorado could not overcome the deficit after surrendering too many points in the first half as the Sun Devils sealed the 10 point win.

The Buffs will host the Houston Cougars next Friday, with kickoff scheduled for 10:15 p.m. ET.
