The injury that likely ended Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin's regular season may have also impacted wide receiver Jeremiah Smith's Heisman Trophy hopes.
Smith is no longer the Heisman betting favorite after the Buckeyes lost at USC during their first game without Sayin, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here's a look at the current Heisman betting odds as Week 10 continues this Saturday.

No. 11 Notre Dame's 31-24 upset of No. 1 Miami on Saturday night helped CJ Carr become the new Heisman Trophy betting favorite. He completed 29-of-40 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Miami's Darian Mensah completed 24-of-43 passes for 302 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
Smith, meanwhile, has struggled to record more than 100 receiving yards per game since Week 5 of Ohio State's season. He connected with true freshman Luke Fahey for 10 catches and 83 yards with a touchdown Halloween night at USC, though he did follow that up with seven catches for 133 yards and a score against Oregon on Saturday.
Smith's drop down the list of betting favorites makes it more likely it will be a quarterback favorited to be honored as the top player in college football this winter.
Utah's Devon Dampier recently improved his betting odds as BYU's Bear Bachmeier's Heisman chances took a hit following No. 3 Utah's 28-20 victory over visiting No. 9 BYU.
Following No. 2 Georgia's 42-7 win over No. 10 Ole Miss on Saturday, Gunner Stockton's odds rose mightily while Trinidad Chambliss' odds fell. Stockton completed 9-of-15 passes for 186 yards and four scores while Chambliss completed 18-of-34 passes for 170 yards and one interception.
Both Tuesday's update of the College Football Playoff selection committee rankings and the next round of Heisman betting odds could look different by the time these key matchups wrap up Saturday night.
