Deion Sanders Says Colorado Is 'United' Despite 4-Game Losing Streak, 'I'm Proud of That'
Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders isn't worried about losing the locker room despite the team's four-game losing streak.
"I'm trying to say this carefully. I got rid of that," he told reporters about the potential for finger-pointing amidst the struggles. "That's why you don't see that, you don't hear that. They don't think like that. They don't operate like that. These guys are united in there together. Nobody's sitting up there anymore going off on the sideline like, 'The offense ain't doing this' or 'The defense didn't get a stop.' That's not in this locker room. This is not that kind of party, and I'm proud of that."

Colorado, however, has never been the same since losing Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter to the NFL ahead of the 2025 season. Last year the Buffs were 3-9 and struggled immensely in Big 12 play. Three straight conference losses this season is a continuation of that trend.
"That's yesterday, man. I can't sit up here and comment about the Shedeur, Travis and that phenomenal era that we had," Sanders noted. "It's time to move on and move on up, and let's move it forward. We've got some guys that I feel can do the job."
Colorado fans are ready for them to prove it.
