After rising to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 following Saturday's overtime win over archrival Florida State, Miami head coach Mario Cristobal had a little fun on social media.
Cristobal trolled the Seminoles by sharing a meme of the state of Florida emblazoned with the Hurricanes logo:

Cristobal's Miami squad passed its toughest test of the 2026 season by earning a 43-35 double-overtime win over a motivated Florida State team that was looking to play the spoiler. The Hurricanes improved to 6-0 and claimed the No. 1 spot in the Top 25 for the first time since 2002.
During Cristobal's tenure, he has rebuilt Miami into a perennial national title contender, so he has every right to revel in the team's success, even if it comes at the expense of the Hurricanes' biggest rivals.
Miami will try to remain undefeated when it hosts Pittsburgh (5-2) in another ACC showdown on Saturday.
