Diego Pavia Attends Deion Sanders, Colorado's Game Against No. 11 Utah in New Videos

Former Vanderbilt standout quarterback Diego Pavia was in attendance to watch Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders take on No. 11 Utah at Folsom Field on Saturday night.

While Pavia never played under Sanders during his college career, he previously revealed that he received a scholarship offer from Coach Prime when he was with Jackson State.

"I do wish I could, you know, play for Coach Prime," Pavia said, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

The 24-year-old served as Vanderbilt's starting quarterback in 2025, throwing for 3,539 yards and 29 touchdowns while finishing No. 2 in Heisman Trophy voting. Pavia then signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent, but was waived before the start of the 2026 season.

Colorado has opened its 2026 campaign with a 2-3 record, while Utah sits at 5-0.
