Watch BYU Fan Win $3M FG Kick in Spider-Man Costume in Viral Video with Pat McAfee

Pat McAfee's kicking contest as part of College Gameday has now given out $8.5 million this season after a BYU fan nailed a kick for $3 million on Saturday.

The fan, dressed in a full Spider-Man suit except for the mask, made his second attempt after pulling his first kick to receive the $3 million prize.

The prize money was distributed with $1 million contributions from McAfee, Utah Jazz governor Ryan Smith and Smith's business partner Ryan Sweeney.

The mood in Provo on Saturday was already very positive with ESPN bringing its signature college football preview show to BYU for the first time since 2009 for its matchup with No. 2 Notre Dame.

Entering today, McAfee's weekly kicking contest had given away $5.5 million through the first six weeks. The $3 million prize payout on Saturday is the largest given out so far this season.
