LAFC's 'Hello Kitty' Concession Menu Items Go Viral for High Price After Trending Photo

Sports fans are accustomed to higher prices for concessions, but Los Angeles FC's recent promo night may have raised the bar.

The club celebrated "Hello Kitty Night" with Wednesday's 3-1 win over Austin FC, and speciality concession items accompanied the theme.

Two photos circulated on social media showing the Hello Kitty nachos and tacos went for $54.99 apiece. Based on a series of Reddit posts, that appeared to be the general price for any of the food items that came with the LAFC/Hello Kitty-branded lunchbox.

And who doesn't need a cool lunchbox?

At least LAFC sent the supporters home with three points. Denis Bouanga scored the opener in the 52nd minute and quickly responded after Brandon Vázquez equalized in the 66th. Son Heung-Min provided some insurance with a 72nd-minute goal.
