CJ Carr Lands Chipotle NIL Deal, Notre Dame QB's Go-To Order Revealed Amid Impressive CFB Season

Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr has signed an NIL deal with Chipotle, which will be offering his go-to order on its app.

"Chipotle has been my dream NIL partner since I committed to play college football, so this is a full-circle moment," Carr said, per On3's Daniel Hager. "I was already a top 1% Chipotle customer this summer, but I wasn't signed up for Chipotle U, so I was definitely leaving some points on the field. Now that I'm in, I'm going for that No. 1 spot. There are a lot of Chipotle fans on campus, so I know they're going to make me earn it."

There will also be a Chipotle competition held on campus, per Hager.

"Carr will challenge fellow students on campus to compete for the No. 1 spot in the school's Chipotle U rankings. When the competition concludes on December 31, 2026, the three students who finish atop the rankings will each be crowned a Chipotle U Valedictorian, earning free burritos for a year and a signed CJ Carr jersey."

Carr is currently leading the No. 2 Fighting Irish, who have started the season with a 6-0 record. He has completed 70.8 percent of his passes for 1,378 yards (9.6 yards per attempt) and 16 touchdowns (just one interception). Carr has also added three rushing scores.

Notre Dame is averaging 44.0 points per game (fourth in Division I-FBS) and has outscored opponents by 33.0 points. ESPN Analytics gives Notre Dame a 93.3 percent chance to make the CFP.

The Fighting Irish have some tough battles up ahead. Notre Dame visits No. 8 BYU on Saturday. A home date with No. 3 Miami also looms on Nov. 7.
