New NBA Rumors on Brandon Miller, Cason Wallace Contract Extensions After Brandin Podziemski's Deal
Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller could be the next young player in line for a very lucrative extension.
According to NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer, "Miller is still projected by various league observers to ultimately come to terms with the Hornets on an extension that could exceed Amen Thompson's new five-year, $200 million deal with the Rockets. In conversations with front office executives around the NBA this week, there seemed to be a growing consensus among rival decision-makers that Miller's deal has the potential to be richer in a nod to his higher offensive ceiling."

Report on Blunt Duren Negotiations 😬
That comes after Brandin Podziemski signed a five-year, $110 million rookie-scale contract extension with the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
Miller, 23, averaged 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 65 games last season, shooting 38.3 percent from three. With LaMelo Bell now in Minnesota, Miller's very much the face of the Hornets alongside Kon Knueppel.
Meanwhile, Stein and Fischer reported that Cason Wallace and the Oklahoma City Thunder are negotiating an extension worth around $25 million per recent season, though there are questions around the NBA whether the deal could exceed that AAV.
Wallace, 22, averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game last season, shooting 35.1 percent from three. His defensive impact makes him very valuable to the Thunder as they seek another title.
