Arch Manning's Final Box Score Stats, Highlights, Draft Stock as No. 1 Texas Gets Upset by Oklahoma
Texas went into the Cotton Bowl on Saturday as the top team in the country, ready to get another win over Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry.
But as has been proven time and time again, rankings mean nothing in a rivalry game.
The Sooners upset Arch Manning and the Longhorns 27-24 on a walk-off field goal.

Texas got on the board first when Arch Manning found Cam Coleman for a 41-yard touchdown.
The Sooners' offense struggled to get going throughout, but they found other ways to score. In the second quarter, it was a blocked punt that helped Oklahoma tie it up.
Texas added another touchdown and a field goal to take a 10-point lead into the halftime, but the Longhorns were far from comfortable heading into the second half.
The Sooners came storming back in the second half, cutting the lead to one score with a field goal in the third before a touchdown drive to open the fourth quarter.
Oklahoma's defense then came through, as Peyton Bowen intercepted Manning's pass and found the end zone to make it a 24-17 game.
After the miscue from Manning gave the Sooners the lead, the quarterback responded well and led a touchdown drive that ended with a pass to Jermain Bishop Jr. to tie things up again.
The Longhorns had a chance to take the lead with just under three minutes to go, but a missed field goal gave the ball back to Oklahoma with the score still tied. The Sooners couldn't capitalize on the miss, though, going three-and-out on the following drive.
But another mistake from Manning gave Oklahoma another chance with less than a minute to play. Manning faced pressure around midfield and tried to find his target, but Courtland Guillory snatched it out of the air.
The Sooners then managed to get the ball into field goal range, and kicker Tate Sandell etched his name into Oklahoma football history.
The upset loss is another stain on Manning's resume amid what has been a rough season. He came into the year as a frontrunner to be drafted first overall, but it's fair to say he hasn't lived up to the hype so far.
Manning had his moments, but two interceptions, including one in the clutch, won't sit well with scouts.
The good news for Manning is that no scouts will be putting John Mateer above him on their draft boards after the way things went on Saturday. Mateer didn't move the ball well at all and was bailed out by his defense and special teams throughout the game.
