'F--ked Up,' Jaylen Brown Reacts to Anthony Edwards Trolling Him, LeBron James in Viral Adidas Video
Jaylen Brown is unimpressed by the apparent jabs Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards took toward him and his Philadelphia 76ers teammate LeBron James as part of an ad campaign with adidas.
Brown reacted to the commercial, in which Edwards seemingly joked about Brown's hair, in a Friday Twitch stream with Sixers guard VJ Edgecombe.
"That's f--ked up. AE, I thought you was my boy," Brown said. "Come on, man, that's crazy. We ain't doing that."
Brown continued, "Adidas wrote this for you, my boy? They wrote this for you? They're trying to drive a wedge between us."
Edwards started out his commercial by referencing James signing with the 76ers this offseason in free agency.
"He was gon' join me in Minnesota, but I guess his knees couldn't handle the cold weather," Edwards joked.
Edwards continued, "We know why he really made that decision. Philly got some of the best barbers in the world. Between him and ol' boy from Boston, they're gonna have a whole lot of enhancements going on in that locker room."
This isn't the first time Brown has responded to trolling from Edwards, who also named Brown as the player he wouldn't want to date his sister during All-Star weekend in February.
Brown could now have a new point of contention to discuss with Edwards when the Timberwolves and 76ers meet for the first time this season in January.
