Hockey fans got a first look Thursday at color schemes for the PWHL's four newest teams.

The PWHL unveiled jerseys for Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose before each club begins its inaugural season this December.

Each new club will wear a diagonal city wordmark for their first season. The teams are expected to reveal new names and logos ahead of the 2027-28 campaign.

The same process was followed by the PWHL's first eight teams in Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.

Detroit's jerseys feature black and silver in connection to the city's automotive industry and red as a nod to the Detroit Red Wings, according to the PWHL.

Hamilton's uniforms feature burnt orange and red in a nod to the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats as well as the city's former OHL and NHL teams, the league said.

Las Vegas is wearing a green and gold uniform referencing Nevada's desert scenery, while San Jose's jerseys are highlighted with mandarin orange in honor of the region's fruit production and the city's flag, per the PWHL.

The PWHL is set to kick off its first 12-team season Dec. 5.
