Dante Moore Injury Update, Latest Rumors on Oregon QB's Status After Concussion on Illegal Hit
No. 13 Oregon is set to return from its bye week against No. 21 UCLA on Saturday, but the Ducks reportedly are unlikely to have their starting quarterback under center.
According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore "is currently considered unlikely to play" against UCLA on Saturday as he continues his recovery from a concussion, leaving Dylan Raiola as the Ducks' starter for the Big Ten matchup.
Moore sustained an illegal hit in Oregon's Week 4 matchup against USC and was stretchered off the field in a scary moment. Head coach Dan Lanning announced after the Ducks' 41-27 win over the Trojans that Moore was diagnosed with a concussion, and his MRI and CT scan didn't reveal any other injuries.

Earlier this week, Lanning revealed that Moore had returned to practice, but his status for Saturday's game against the Bruins wasn't determined because the team is prioritizing his long-term health.
"He was wearing a helmet and shoulder pads today and was out there throwing a football," Lanning said Monday. "It was great to see him back out there with his teammates and able to get a little work in today."
Raiola, who starred at Nebraska before transferring to Oregon this past offseason, impressed with 289 yards and two touchdowns against USC. Lanning expressed confidence in him continuing to lead the Ducks while Moore recovers.
"Dylan's got to keep doing what he's been doing," Lanning said Monday. "Preparing like he's going to be the guy that goes out there every single day. We need that from every single person on our team. We don't need anything special from Dylan, other than doing what he's been doing."
