Indiana Fever star guard (and former Iowa Hawkeye) Caitlin Clark will be College GameDay's guest picker on Saturday when ESPN's college football pregame show rolls into Iowa City for No. 14 Iowa's home game against No. 5 Ohio State.

Clark, of course, became a superstar at Iowa, leading the Hawkeyes to back-to-back national championship game appearances. She is a three-time first-team Associated Press All-American (2022โ€“2024) and a two-time consensus national player of the year (2023-2024).

Clark also left town with a host of records. Of note, she's the all-time Division I scoring leader (men or women) with 3,951 points.

She just finished her third season with the Fever, who went 28-16 but fell short in the first round of the playoffs to the Las Vegas Aces, the defending WNBA champions. Clark had her best season as a pro, averaging 22.3 points (third in the WNBA) and 8.3 assists (second).

College GameDay is in Iowa City for the first time since 2006, when Iowa hosted Ohio State, then the No. 1 team in the nation. OSU won that game, 38-17, but Iowa is obviously hoping for a different result.

The 4-0 Hawkeyes enter this game after defeating Michigan on the road, 20-19, with a game-ending 16-yard touchdown from quarterback Hank Brown to wide receiver Reece Vander Zee.

So ESPN is in town for a big one. Clark (and the rest of the GameDay crew) will be making their picks just before the show closes at noon ET. Kickoff at Kinnick Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m.
