Latest Heisman Trophy 2026 Odds as Jeremiah Smith Rises, Arch Manning Falls

Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith established himself as the solo betting favorite to win the 2026 Heisman Trophy with a historic performance Saturday against visiting Illinois.

His rise coincides with a drop in Arch Manning's Heisman odds after the Texas quarterback threw an interception in Saturday's narrow win over Tennessee.

Manning's fall out of the top five of the betting odds came after an inconsistent performance in which he was sacked six times, threw an interception and took two illegal forward pass penalties.

Smith earned his spot as the clear-cut favorite after recording a single-game career high 217 receiving yards and a program-record tying four touchdown catches.

Notably Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor could continue his rise toward the top of the Heisman rankings if he is able to lead his team to an upset of visiting Missouri Saturday evening.
