Warriors Star Steph Curry's New Disney Documentary Teased in Trailer Ahead of IMAX Release Date

Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry has done it all in his legendary career, and now he will be the subject of a documentary following his journey to 4,000 three-pointers.

Distributed by Disney, Portrait of an Artist: Stephen Curry will be released exclusively in IMAX theaters on Oct. 9, and a new trailer for the film dropped on Monday:

Curry eclipsed 4,000 career three-pointers in a win over the Sacramento Kings during the 2024-25 campaign.

"This film is all about capturing Steph Curry, an athlete and artist who is always chasing a new masterpiece," director Gotham Chopra said in a statement. "With the court as his canvas, we wanted to show the world the relentless creativity and discipline that drives one of the greatest to ever play the game. We are thrilled to be able to share this film in IMAX with audiences across the country."

Curry will enter the 2026-27 season with 4,248 career three-pointers, so it will be fun to see how high he can extend his all-time record before he hangs it up.
