Two of college football's biggest names will be on display in the premier contest of the weekend.
Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, fresh off an eight-catch, 151-yard two-touchdown performance, gets his second shot at the Texas secondary that kept him in check last season in Columbus.
Smith only had 43 yards on six catches in OSU's 14-7 win a year ago. He's up against a Longhorns defense that held the Texas State Bobcats to 188 passing yards in Week 1.
Manning didn't have the best performance in Columbus last year either with 170 passing yards and a completion percentage of 56.7.
Manning threw for 315 yards and four scores last week, so like Smith, he comes into Saturday with some individual momentum.
Both defenses will be difficult to beat again, which is why the Under 48.5 might be the best bet in a toss-up game like this.
Texas has the edge on the spread because of its home-field advantage, but it is truly a toss-up because of the talent on each side of the field.
If OSU can get Smith and/or running back Bo Jackson going against the Texas defense, it has a chance to pick up a big win on the road.
Both teams aren't out of the playoff hunt if they lose, but a defeat would be an early blemish on tough schedules for both sides.

No. 11 Oklahoma (-5.5) at Michigan

The national conversation regarding the Michigan Wolverines isn't great after Week 1.
The Wolverines dropped out of the AP poll even though they didn't lose to the Western Michigan Broncos. Although some fans will argue they should've lost due to their dismay with the review of the clock at the end of the game.
Michigan has plenty of concerns, starting with the play of sophomore quarterback Bryce Underwood. He went 12-for-22 with 170 yards in Week 1 and was 9-for-24 with 142 passing yards a year ago versus the Oklahoma Sooners.
Oklahoma had the far cleaner Week 1 and it owns the more established quarterback in the matchup in John Mateer.
It's easy to take the Sooners on the 5.5-point spread because of the mismatch at quarterback.
Oklahoma tortured Underwood with its defense last year. That unit is as good, if not better, than last year's defense.
A Michigan win would solve a lot of worries about the program, but it seems unlikely with just how far ahead Oklahoma seemed to be in Week 1.

Keelon Russell's first road start as the Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback takes place in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Kentucky Wildcats aren't expected to be a contender in the SEC, but it could potentially be frisky at home versus a young quarterback.
Kentucky showed some nice early signs under first-year head coach Will Stein in Week 1, albeit against an FCS opponent. Kenny Minchey, a Notre Dame transfer, threw for 301 yards in the 45-point outburst.
Russell threw for 256 yards in his first Alabama start. He also ran for 86 yards and a score.
The young quarterback certainly has the best talent around him, led by wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, so the expectation is for Bama to win.
History is not on the side of the Wildcats, as they've only ever won twice against Bama. The Crimson Tide won the last four meetings by a combined score of 194-37.
