Victor Wembanyama Celebrates Salahdine Parnasse's TKO Win vs. Dan Hooker on Video at UFC Fight Night

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama was thrilled to see fellow Frenchman Salahdine Parnasse earn a first-round TKO over Dan Hooker in a lightweight matchup at UFC Fight Night on Saturday evening.

The event took place in Paris' Accor Arena, where Wembanyama and his younger brother, Oscar Wembanyama, a professional basketball player who plays for Denain Voltaire Basket in France.

The Parnasse-Hooker match served as the main event and lit up the home crowd.

Parnasse, who earned a Performance of the Night bonus, got the TKO after a devastating kick-and-punch combo near the end of the first round.

The fight served as the 28-year-old Parnasse's first bout in UFC. He's 24-2 lifetime in professional MMA, though, and has his sights set on a major talent, Max Holloway.

Ultimately, Parnasse is a fighter to watch moving forward, and he certainly has a big fan in Wembanyama.
