The 2026 BIG3 league came to an exhilarating conclusion on Saturday as the Boston Ball Hogs defeated Dallas Power in the title game behind a game-winner from Jeremy Pargo.

The Ball Hogs entered the matchup as 3.5-point underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, but pulled off an upset with an incredible performance from its starters.

In its ninth season since being founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz in 2017, eight teams battled for the prize money.

Last season, it was announced that "the two winning teams coming out of the Week 9 playoffs will be awarded the $1 million win bonus," in addition to their regular-season salaries, according to BIG3's Hannah Palacios.

The Ball Hogs went 6-3 during the season behind co-captains Garlon Green and Deshawn Stephens, wrapping it all up with their first championship, led by an MVP performance from Pargo.

The Power finished a dominant season behind co-captains Cameron Smith and Glen Rice Jr., going 8-1.

Despite an impressive season and a standout championship performance from Elijah Stewart, who scored 19 points, they could not get it done in the final game.

Former Georgetown University big man Greg Monroe got things started in the 2026 championship game with a tough bucket under the rim before the two teams began their back-and-forth battle for the lead heading into halftime.

The Ball Hogs held a narrow two-point lead at halftime, with Green, Pargo and Stephens accounting for all of their points.

The race to 50 points came down to the wire, with Power within three points of the target and eyeing their second championship while the Ball Hogs were stuck at 43.

Boston's Pargo launched a 4-pointer to tie the game at 47-all, refusing to roll over as both teams eyed a 3-pointer to win it.

After an and-one put Monroe at the free-throw line with a chance to put the game away, he missed the opportunity, and Boston's Pargo called game with a 4-pointer to clinch the comeback victory and secure Boston's first-ever championship.
