Bronny James Reacts to LeBron Leaving Lakers for 76ers in New Trending Video

Bronny James doesn't have any strong takes about his father leaving the Los Angeles Lakers to join the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason.

When a fan asked Bronny about LeBron James signing with the Sixers, the Lakers guard had a simple response: "It's whatever, it's my dad."

Bronny and LeBron played two seasons together in Los Angeles. They became the first father-son duo to appear in the same NBA game when Bronny made his debut against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 22, 2024.

Overall, the James duo shared the court for 294 minutes over the past two years. Their last appearance together as teammates was Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on May 9.

The Lakers' season ended the next game, leading to LeBron ending his eight-year tenure with the club. He went on to sign a two-year, $8 million contract with the Sixers in free agency.

Bronny is entering year three with the Lakers. He showed improvement from his rookie campaign in limited playing time with 2.9 points on 40.9 percent shooting and 1.2 assists per game in 42 appearances last season.

The first time Bronny and LeBron might meet as opponents is on Christmas Day when the Sixers visit Crypto.com Arena to take on the Lakers.
