'College GameDay' to Broadcast from Ole Miss for Lane Kiffin's Return with LSU in Week 3

College GameDay is heading to Mississippi for what could be the most-anticipated game of the 2026 college football regular season.

ESPN announced on Friday that the signature college football pre-game show will be at the University of Mississippi on Sept. 19 for Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford when the Rebels host LSU.

Kiffin's debut season with the Tigers is making LSU an appealing option for ESPN. College Gameday will be in Baton Rouge for his first home game against Clemson on Sept. 5.

In between Kiffin games, ESPN will send the Gameday crew to Austin on Sept. 12 for Ohio State vs. Texas.

Kiffin left Ole Miss to take the LSU job on Nov. 30, leaving the Rebels to play in the College Football Playoff with Pete Golding taking over as head coach.

Mississippi went 55-19 in six seasons with Kiffin as head coach from 2020 to '25.
