Having already named their home stadium after Hall of Fame head coach Robert Neyland, the Tennessee Volunteers are incorporating his legacy into their uniforms for the 2026 season.

The Vols revealed the "Neyland Legacy" uniforms they will add to their rotation for the upcoming season.

Some of the Neyland-specific aspects of the design include a patch on the left shoulder in the image of him kneeling, similar to the Neyland statue that sits outside of their home stadium.

The helmet design is based off the leather model the Vols used in the very-early days of the football program.

Neyland spent a total of 21 seasons as Tennessee's head coach across three different stints between 1926 to '52. He also had multiple stints in the military as a member of the Army, including in 1941 during World War II.

Tennessee went 173-31-12 and won four national titles during Neyland's tenure. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1956.

The Volunteers will kickoff the 2026 season at Neyland Stadium against Furman on Sept. 5 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
