Louisville Unveils Muhammad Ali-Inspired Uniforms in New Photos Ahead of 2026 CFB Season

Louisville revealed new alternate uniforms inspired by boxing legend Muhammad Ali for the 2026 college football season on Friday.

The Cardinals showcased their "For The Ville" uniforms on X, featuring a design similar to Ali's Everlast boxing trunks.

The school has previously used multiple jerseys commemorating Ali, who was born in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Cardinals utilized an all-white uniform inspired by Ali during the 2019 season.

They also introduced alternates that paid homage to his iconic "Rumble in the Jungle" fight against George Foreman during their 2024 campaign.

Louisville is entering its fourth season with head coach Jeff Brohm, winning at least nine games in each of his first three years at the school.

The Cardinals opened their 2025 campaign with a 7-1 record, but immediately on a three-game losing streak that dashed their hopes of contending for the ACC crown.

They still ended up winning their final two games, including a 27-22 victory over Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl.

As Louisville looks to climb further up the ACC standings in 2026, the school's new uniforms will debut on Oct. 31.
