Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodríguez Get Married in Portugal, Share Photos of Rings

Portugal soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, on Tuesday, sharing a photo of his ring on social media.

According to a press release (h/t Ingrid Vasquez of People), the couple's ceremony was a "private and intimate moment" between them and their five children.

The pair began dating in 2016 and tied the knot 10 years later.

Ronaldo, 41, has been somewhat preoccupied with that whole football career thing. The legendary forward scored three goals for Portugal at this year's World Cup, though his country was eliminated by eventual champions Spain in the Round of 16 on Mikel Merino's 91st-minute goal.

He later confirmed that it would be his final World Cup, though he hasn't officially retired from international football.

"I'm fine, sad to leave the World Cup this way. But, as I said yesterday in the press conference, I gave my best and I leave with a clear conscience," he told SportTV in July. "That's the life of a football player. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose and we need to keep going. The truth is that it was my last World Cup, and now I will have time with my family so as not to make decisions in the heat of the moment. I will get up [tomorrow] with a clear conscience. I won three titles for Portugal [one European Championship and two UEFA Nations Leagues]. Before Cristiano, Portugal had never won any titles. Therefore, I leave with a clear conscience. I gave my best. Tomorrow will be a new day, and life goes on."

As for his club career, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus man joined the Saudi Pro League's Al-Nassr in the 2022-23 season and has registered 102 goals and 18 assists across four seasons. That included a Saudi Pro League title in the 2025-26 campaign.
