Hawaii's Aloha Stadium Demolition Updated in New Video Years After Being Condemned

A video of Aloha Stadium being in the process of getting demolished went viral this week on social media.

In the video, the iconic venue located in Hālawa, Hawaiʻi, was seen in a state of disrepair, as large parts of the stadium have already been torn down and removed from the site:

Opened in 1975, Aloha Stadium was home to the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors college football team until 2020, and it hosted the NFL's Pro Bowl 35 times from 1980 to 2016.

Aloha Stadium was condemned in late 2020, thus ending its run as the premier sports and entertainment venue in the state of Hawaiʻi.
