Illinois Debuts CFB's Largest Video Board as Fans Get to Watch 'Air Bud' in Stadium

They say everything is bigger in Texas, but everything is actually bigger in Illinois when it comes to college football scoreboards.

Illinois debuted its new video board at Gies Memorial Stadium, which is the largest video board in all of college football. Carson Gourdie of Fox Illinois reported it is more than 17,000 square feet, which is bigger than Auburn's of more than 11,000 square feet.

While there will be football replays and promotional videos on the screen soon, Illinois debuted the screen with a showing of Air Bud. The movie was a request from Illini basketball player David Mirkovic.
