Michael Jordan Signed 1986-87 Fleer Basketball Box Sells for $1.5M, 1-of-1 Item Seen in Photo

A signed Michael Jordan card box sold for a lofty price on Sunday.

The 1-of-1 Fleer's Basketball Box from the 1986-87 season sold for $1.5 million on eBay. Cllct's Darren Robell noted that the current value for the same sealed box not signed by Jordan is $185,000.

The Fleer box from 1986-87 features 36 packs, and many include Michael Jordan's rookie card.

The 1986-87 campaign was one of Jordan's best individual seasons, as he averaged 37.1 points per game while leading the Chicago Bulls to the playoffs. Jordan would, of course, go on to lead Chicago to six titles, cementing himself as one of the best players in NBA history and skyrocketing the value of his rookie cards.

In 2022, Jordan's Fleer rookie card sold for $1.008 million, though he's had a few more cards sell for far more than that over the years.
