Michael Irvin Gifts Custom RV to Mark Fletcher Jr.'s Mom in Video Ahead of Miami's 2026 Season

Pro Football Hall of Famer and former University of Miami star Michael Irvin has gifted a custom RV to Linda Fletcher, the mother of Hurricanes running back Mark Fletcher Jr.

CaneSport provided more details, noting the RV will help Linda travel to games since she does not fly.

According to Will Manso of WPLG Local 10 News, Irvin's production company is launching a series following Linda Fletcher's road travels this season.

Jordan Mendoza of USA Today provided a glimpse into Fletcher's driving commitment last year, when the 'Canes went to the College Football Playoff:

"Linda Fletcher drives to every venue, and it has been a busy road for the College Football Playoff run. Always starting at home in Fort Lauderdale, she drove to College Station, Texas for the first round at Texas A&M, the quarterfinal in Arlington, Texas against Ohio State and then the semifinal in Glendale, Arizona against Mississippi.

"For just the CFP, she has driven roughly 9,800 miles in the past month, and about 18,000 miles on the season. She also drove to Berkeley, California for Miami's game against Cal last season."

Fletcher also spoke with ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit and Joey Galloway about his mother and her tremendous efforts last January.

Fletcher is coming off a great season, amassing 1,332 total yards and 14 touchdowns. He'll look to lead the Hurricanes back to the national championship again, beginning on Friday, Sept. 4 at Stanford in California.

That's a big trip for Linda off the bat, but the rest of the season is far more manageable, with the biggest trip being to Notre Dame (South Bend, Indiana) on Nov. 7. The other road games are at Wake Forest (Winston-Salem, North Carolina), Clemson (South Carolina) and North Carolina (Chapel Hill).
