WWE's The Miz Rants About LeBron James Snubbing Cavs for 76ers' NBA Free Agency Contract in Video

WWE Superstar The Miz wasn't pleased after LeBron James joined the Philadelphia 76ers instead of the Cleveland Cavaliers in free agency.

"This is worse than when he took his talents to South Beach," The Miz said in a video posted on X. "I don't understand why there needs to be a big hoopla in getting us, Cleveland Cavaliers, excited about LeBron going every single time."

The Miz grew up in Parma, Ohio and is an avid Cleveland sports fan.

James signed a two-year contract worth $8 million with the 76ers on Friday, per ESPN's Shams Charania.

Cleveland was linked to the 22-time All-Star throughout his free agency process, although he ultimately joined Philadelphia.

The Miz previously attempted to recruit James to the Cavaliers on July 15.

James has spent the majority of his career on the Cavs after they selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. He's played 11 total seasons across two separate stints in Cleveland, memorably winning a championship in 2016.

The Cavs are coming off a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals last season, marking their deepest playoff run since James was a member of the organization.

Cleveland also boasts a core that includes Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.

Instead, James signed with a 76ers squad that already brought in Jaylen Brown alongside Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe this offseason.
