LeBron James' 1st Autographed 1-of-1 76ers Trading Card Revealed by Topps in Trending Photo

The announcement that LeBron James is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers is being commemorated in a limited-edition trading card.

Topps is releasing a "Year 24" card featuring James in a Sixers uniform that will be available for purchase via Fanatics through Saturday.

The collection includes a 1-of-1 card featuring James' first autograph as a 76er, according to Fanatics.

James is joining the Sixers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, his agent Rich Paul told ESPN's Shams Charania Friday.

Topps announced the news of the limited-edition trading card seconds before Charania shared the contract details and James confirmed the news on his own account, per The Athletic's Larry Holder.

James is the first player to announce his decision to join a new team alongside the release of a new trading card, per NBC Sports' John Clark.

The Topps card features James wearing a No. 23 Sixers jersey. The NBA's all-time leading scorer is set to keep the number he was most recently wearing with the Los Angeles Lakers after wearing No. 6 earlier in his NBA career and No. 9 while representing Team USA.

Topps is selling an open-edition base card in addition to five parallels, each of which feature 50 cards or fewer, and the 1-of-1 autograph redemption card.

The new card release comes after an Upper Deck Exquisite Collection rookie patch card from James' 2003-04 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers set a public auction record when selling for $2.9 million last month at Goldin Auctions.

The highest price for a James card stands at $5.2 million, which was set when another Upper Deck rookie patch autograph card sold in a private sale in 2021 (h/t ESPN's Dan Hajducky).
