LeBron James Offered Golf Perks by Cleveland, Philadelphia Companies Amid Cavs, 76ers FA Rumors

LeBron James apparently has multiple companies willing to offer him free access to indoor golfing should he sign in their city in free agency.

TMZ reported that West Bank Golf Club and 18Lab Golf in Cleveland have both offered James free perks should he sign with the Cavaliers.

Philadelphia's The Sporting Club at The Bellevue has offered James similar perks in an effort to entice him to the 76ers, according to TMZ.

All three facilities offer indoor golf or golf simulators, which could be an attempt to lure James away from some opportunities in warmer climates.

The Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh have previously cited year-round outdoor golf as a reason for James to sign with their respective teams.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported earlier this month the Cavaliers, Sixers, Warriors and Heat were four of five teams alongside the Minnesota Timberwolves that remained in the running to sign James.

It has been more than three weeks since James confirmed his split from the Los Angeles Lakers. His agent Rich Paul said in a podcast released Monday there was no set timeline as to when James would announce his decision.
