Rich Paul Gives Advice to Fans Worrying About LeBron's Decision Timeline in New Video
While fans are hoping to learn LeBron James' decision on his next team, the star free agent is still in no rush to reveal his plans.
During an appearance on Tuesday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, James' agent, Rich Paul, advised fans to "just have a little patience" with the 41-year-old while he mulls his options.

Rich Paul: LeBron FA Not About Attention
Paul's comments to McAfee echo his declarations on the latest episode of his Game Over podcast with Max Kellerman, as he asserted (h/t ESPN's Dave McMenamin), "We're not going to be rushed. It's his choice to make and when he makes the choice, he'll make it."
McMenamin reported that the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat are among the teams that have continued their pursuit of James, but sources said the three Eastern Conference franchises are "believed to be the top teams being considered." Paul said during his podcast that there's nothing more that any team can do to try to sway his decision.
"There's been several people to call and say, 'Hey, Rich, is there anything more we should be doing? We could be doing?'" Paul said. "And my answer is, 'No. We don't need you to go above and beyond about anything. We understand it. It's clear. All the messages have been sent.'"
Paul also denied the notion that James is holding up his decision because he wants all of the attention on himself.
"I think it's important for people to understand: We're not making this about attention and a spectacle," Paul said. "It's not about a 'Decision' or anything like that. He has a choice to make. He has a business choice to make. We're not going to sit here and decide or allow someone else to decide when he makes that decision. … It's a business choice that he's making. And I think as an athlete, why is it that an athlete has to rush his choice?"
It seems that James won't adjust his timeline for any reason, so fans will have to heed Paul's advice and exercise patience while he remains silent.
