AC Milan Drops New Away Kit Inspired by Champions League Win in Athens in Trending Photos, Video

AC Milan is turning back the clock to 2007 with its new away kit for the 2026-27 season.

The club drew inspiration from its most recent Champions League triumph for the design:

Avenging the "Miracle of Istanbul," Milan beat Liverpool 2-1 in the 2007 UCL final in Athens, Greece, with goals from Filippo Inzaghi. Two years earlier, the Italian giant threw away a three-goal lead en route to losing on penalties.

The back of the collar on the new away shirt includes the phrase, "After Istanbul, there's always Athens."
