Draymond Green Says He'd Switch Jersey Number if LeBron James Signs Warriors Contract, Reveals Plans

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green indicated a willingness to change from his No. 23 to the No. 5 on social media Thursday, which would accommodate the potential addition of LeBron James.

James has worn both the No. 23 and No. 6 during his career, and the No. 6 is currently available in Golden State, so it's possible Green wouldn't have to give up his number were James to sign.

While the Warriors remain one of the teams regularly mentioned when it comes to LeBron, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly the frontrunners:

The entire NBA is awaiting James' decision. If he chooses Golden State, it sounds as though he'll have his choice of his two preferred numbers.
