LeBron James Responds to Haliburton Asking About NBA Free-Agent Decision in New Video Amid Rumors
LeBron James isn't offering any clues as to where he'll play next season.
Indiana Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton tried to get the inside scoop on Thursday during the Fanatics Fest in New York City but was quickly shot down:
While James didn't offer any hints about his future, he did reflect on his past.
"Shoutout my former team," he said. "I spent eight great years with the Los Angeles Lakers. ... That was an unbelievable ride and I am looking forward to what comes next as I wind down my journey. It's going to be fun wherever I land."
Not that LeBron isn't having fun with all of the curiosity and speculation regarding his decision:
The frontrunners reportedly are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers, with ESPN's Shams Charania calling them the "top potential destinations for James."
The Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves are also in the mix, and Shams also said a decision is nearing the finish line:
Any team would be thrilled to land LeBron, who is 41 but still averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game last season.
It appears no decision will be revealed on Thursday, however.
