Erling Haaland Bids Farewell to USA with IG Photo After 'Emotional' World Cup Run with Norway

Norway star Erling Haaland made his way back across the pond following his country's run in the 2026 World Cup.

Haaland said goodbye to the United States and shared a photo from his flight out of the country.

The Manchester City striker was already a massive star within world football. He has widened his appeal throughout the summer with casual fans becoming aware of his skill and personality.

Haaland also seems to have gained the respect of legend Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Supporters will have to wait until August to see Haaland in a competitive fixture again. City plays Arsenal for the Community Shield on Aug. 16 and opens its Premier League schedule on Aug. 23 against Bournemouth.
