After Losing World Cup Bet, Norwegian Airlines Changes IG to British Airways as England Beat Norway

Unsuspecting social media users may have been a bit confused when they visited the Instagram page for Norwegian Air.

The company honored a bet to change its profile photo to the logo of British Airways following Norway's 2-1 loss to England in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup.

"While the tournament is over for us, this friendly bet will forever live in all our hearts❤️," Norwegian Air posted. "We wish England and @british_airways all the best in the semi-final, and we sincerely hope you'll get to bring football home!"

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham scored both goals for the Three Lions, netting the winner in the third minute of extra time.
