Oladipo, 34, last played in the NBA with the Miami Heat in the 2022-23 season before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
He most recently played last season for the G League's Wisconsin Herd.
Oladipo first announced his intention to pursue a return to the NBA in a July 1 post on social media.
"I'm open to every opportunity right now," Oladipo wrote.
Oladipo had to re-learn how to walk after undergoing surgeries on his quad tendon in both 2019 and 2021.
He then suffered a ruptured patellar tendon during the 2023 postseason that derailed his NBA career completely.
Oladipo appeared in preseason action in the Chinese Basketball Association last fall before signing with the Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate in November 2025.
He appeared in 15 regular-season G League games last season, during which he averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.1 steals.
Oladipo also shot 38.9 percent from the field and 32.9 percent from deep while averaging 29.9 minutes per game for the Herd.
Originally drafted by the Orlando Magic with the No. 2 pick of the 2013 draft out of Indiana, Oladipo played the peak of his NBA career with the Pacers.
He was named the NBA's Most Improved Player after leading the league with 2.4 steals per game during the 2017-18 campaign, then earned a second straight All-Star nod the following season.
By the time of his 2023 knee injury, Oladipo had averaged 16.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals through 504 games over 10 NBA seasons.
His open workout takes place amid the 2026 NBA Summer League, which is taking place from July 9 to July 19 in Las Vegas.
