Novak Djokovic Eyes 2027 Wimbledon Return Amid Retirement Speculation After Jannik Sinner Loss
Novak Djokovic revealed that he's looking to return to Wimbledon in 2027 after falling to Jannik Sinner in the semifinals on Friday.
"I would like to, at least one more time," Djokovic said after the match, per ESPN's D'Arcy Maine. "Let's see."
He's teased his retirement timeline in the past, but could decide to continue playing through 2027.

Sinner Beats Djokovic Again, Makes Wimbledon Final

Wimbledon Men's Final Preview
Seven of Djokovic's 24 Grand Slam titles have come at the All England Club, although he couldn't overcome Sinner on Friday.
The 39-year-old failed to break serve as he suffered a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 defeat.
"I was just half-a-step late basically in any shot ... it's very simple as that," Djokovic explained, per Maine. "He was just a level or more better than I was. I was just ... not sharp enough, not reactive enough, not balanced enough to play him. That's it. There's not much I could do on the court."
His last Grand Slam title came at the 2023 US Open. Djokovic advanced to this year's Australian Open final before losing to Carlos Alcaraz in four sets, though.
