Erling Haaland's Rap Song Remix Tops Spotify Charts in Norway amid 2026 World Cup Run

A remix of a rap song that Norwegian soccer sensation Erling Haaland released 10 years ago is currently topping the charts in his home country.

According to ESPN's Chris Wright, Haaland formed a group called Flow Kingz with two of his under-17 international teammates a decade ago, and they dropped a song called Kygo Jo on YouTube.

Norwegian DJ and producer Kygo vowed to remix the song if Haaland scored in Norway's Round of 16 match against Brazil at the FIFA World Cup, and he did precisely that after Haaland netted a pair of goals in a 2-1 victory:

Haaland is arguably the most popular person in Norway right now given that he has already led the country to its best-ever result at the World Cup by reaching the quarterfinals.
