Darryn Peterson and the Utah Jazz defeated Cameron Boozer's Memphis Grizzlies, 109-100, on Monday in Salt Lake City Summer League play.
Peterson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, got the better of Boozer, the No. 3 overall pick, while handing Memphis its first loss of the summer.

With both teams entering the matchup at 1-0, the Jazz remained the lone unbeaten team in the Salt Lake City Summer League.
Peterson led the way with a double-double of 25 points and 12 assists, adding two steals to pace Utah's victory.
Cody Williams added 18 points, one steal and one block, while seven Jazz players scored in double figures in Monday's victory.
Boozer finished with 18 points, shooting 4-of-5 from 3-point range, and added a steal in the loss. Cedric Coward led Memphis with 23 points while contributing three blocks and one steal.
The Jazz took a narrow 53-52 lead into halftime behind 13 points and seven assists from Peterson, who looked comfortable running the point. Coward added 16 first-half points for Utah.
Boozer finished the opening half with five points, three rebounds and three assists.
The game remained tight entering the fourth quarter, with Utah holding a four-point advantage. Peterson capped the third quarter with a jumper, giving him 17 points through three quarters and helping the Jazz maintain the lead.
Max Abmas stepped up in the closing moments, sealing the victory by knocking down a series of clutch free throws, helping Utah pull away and keep Memphis at bay.
Memphis opened Salt Lake City Summer League play in dominant fashion, rolling to a 111-74 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. Boozer finished with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists in the Fourth of July win.
The Jazz, meanwhile, escaped with a 103-102 overtime victory over the Atlanta Hawks later that day.
Memphis returns to action Tuesday against Atlanta, while the Jazz will face the Thunder in the second game.
