France enters the knockout round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with an attacking freight train rolling down the tracks at full steam.

Les Bleus netted 10 goals on their way to first place in Group I.

Kylian Mbappe, Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele will be hard for any opponent to slow down in the knockout round.

Sweden has an incredibly difficult task on its hands in Tuesday's round-of-32 clash at MetLife Stadium.

Sweden has its own pair of dangerous strikers in Viktor Gyokeres and Alexander Isak, but its defense comes in with plenty of concerns.

France enters the knockout round as the team to beat in the eyes of the oddsmakers.

France is a +380 favorite to lift the World Cup.

Les Bleus are a significant favorite against Sweden on Tuesday. There's reason to believe they don't face much of a threat from their fellow European side.

Mbappe, Olise and Dembele are playing at an unreal level right now. Mbappe has four goals, Dembele had a hat-trick against Norway and Olise's created a ton of chances for himself and his teammates.

France is expected to steamroll a handful of opponents in the knockout round, starting with Sweden.

The Swedes earned four points from Group F, but they finished third behind the Netherlands and Japan.

Sweden conceded seven goals in three games, including five to the Netherlands, who were the best team in Group F.

That defensive record doesn't bode well for Sweden's long-term success at the World Cup.

A round-of-32 exit is expected because of Sweden's inability to keep a clean sheet.

The only way Sweden has a chance against France is if the Gyokeres-Isak combination finishes every chance it receives.

However, chances might be hard to come by against a France back line that conceded just twice in Group I.

A France win in regulation is the expectation from this game. Anything else would be viewed as a surprise.
